Flight to Alicante

Alicante Airport is 9 kilometers southwest to the capital city- Alicante. It is located in one of the most developed business and economic zones on the Mediterranean coast. It is the seventh busiest airport in Spain as it serves popular destinations like Benidrom, Calpa, Torrevieja and Denia all along the Costa Blanca. International passenger flights make up 80% of the total air traffic of the airport. Most tourists visiting the region are from countries like the United Kingdom, Germany and Holland.

There are bus stops outside both arrivals and departures which run into Alicante every hour and cost approximately 1euro. There is also an Airport-Benidorm line which leaves from the same place at 10:30, 14:30, 17:30 and 21:30. The price is about 6 Euro. Taxis is also available right from outside the airport. Taxi fares are approximately 12 Euros to Alicante, 50 Euros to Benidorm and 55 Euros to Altea.
