    Alicante Calpe

    Calpe is dominated by the towering rock of Ifach which reaches to an impressive 332m. Its now home a variety of birds and unusual flora and fauna which is why its now a nature reserve. The summit of the rock is reached by means of a tunnel through the rock. From here, magnificent panoramic views can be had. On a clear day, the island of Ibiza is visible.
    The two churches of Calpe are certainly worth a visit. Close to each other, the Iglesia Antigua and the church Senora de las Nieves are both located in the center of Calpe . There are quality sandy Beaches, excellent local shopping facilities and a wealth of bars and restaurants offering all kinds of local and international cuisine. Calpe has a wonderful modern marina that sits alongside the old fishing port. From here it is possible to take boat rides around the rock and to the nearby resort of Benidorm.

    The port has a nautical club and facilities for yachting, windsurfing and water skiing. If its dry-land sports you want then you can go trekking on the mighty Ifach.

    Torrevieja:

    Torrevieja is a name well –known among the visitors to the region. The tourist town has beautiful beaches and is famous for its salt production. The two huge salt mines are also declared as nature reserves; and many of the visitors that come to the Nature Reserve, do so to take mud baths at the designated mud-bathing areas, which are said to have healing properties.

    The Habaneras music festival held each year is a soulful celebration brought to Torrevieja in the 19th century through Torrevieja's connection with La Habana in Cuba . Torrevieja features one of Spain 's best yacht clubs with berths for 1,500 boats

    Denia:

    This is one of the most attractive towns on the Costa Blanca. The harbour has ferry connections to Ibiza, Mallorca and others . One of the most visited tourist attractions of Denia is the castillo which offers a wonderful view around the sea and the city. Within the castle, you will find the Palau del Governador with its museum. Along with the other interesting museums in Denia, the Museo Etnologico will give you further details on the rich history and culture of Denia. The main avenue in Denia is the Marques de Campo where you can sit and watch the world go by. In the Plaza de Constitucion you will find a wonderful 17th century church. The area around Denia has been voted the third healthiest place to live by the World Health Organisation.

    Calle de Marques de Campo is the main shopping street for a variety of local and international products. When it comes to water sports, Denia has them all, from sailing and yachting clubs to diving and windsurfing.

    Elche:

    Elche is most famous for its palm tree grove, a World Heritage Site. On one end is the Town Park , the largest gardened area of the palm tree forest, which has a total of 200,000 specimens. The city has a 2000 thousand year old history. Although the region has been inhabited since the Neolithic period, Iberian and Roman artifacts are most common. The festivals of "Domingo de Ramos " (Palm Sunday) and the “Mystery of Elche ” have been declared International Tourist Interest. The “ Festa d'Elx” (Festival of Elche) has been declared Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.
    There are several monuments and castles situated in the town . “ Huerto del Cura or the priest's garden has been declared a National Historic Garden National Monographic Museum and Archaeological Site at Alcudia . The Nature parks of Las Salinas and El Hondo are nearby .
